About the owner:

BreAnna Martin is a classically trained soprano from Christiansburg, VA. She earned her B.A. in Music from Roanoke College in 2004 and her M.A. in Music with a concentration in Vocal Performance from Radford University in 2006. She has always had a great interest in the healing arts and planned to become a doctor at a very young age, but she decided to pursue her love of music instead. During a trip to Boulder, Colorado, she had her first encounter with Tibetan Singing Bowls and knew she had found a great marriage of her two loves, music and healing. She has had the privilege of learning from Dr. John Beaulieu, Mitch Nur, Philippe Garnier, Peter Blum, Timothy Hill, and others during the 2013 Sage Academy Sound Healing Retreat. She is also certified in Reiki I & II. She offers sessions for clearing and balancing the chakras, easing anxiety, and pain relief.

About

The name The Singing Hare came to BreAnna one day after a couple of back-to-back singing bowl sessions left her feeling very still and peaceful. Her friend, upon noticing this stillness and the soft gaze from her eyes, claimed BreAnna was “like a rabbit in the field”. That image made quite an impression on her and the combination of the peaceful animal along with the joy of singing seemed like a good match.
